These days have been all play and no work. I feel like my brain is rotting badly haha.
Anyway, backtrack a little… I got to go out with –the rest- last Tuesday! J went swensons to eat lunch and celebrate mok’s birthday with a little choc cake. Then we went pooling then bowling. Ok I’m lousy at both, but at least got to spend time with all of them…yay-ness!!! <3 <3
Erm…let’s see…. Wed and Thursday were just normal school days. The last two days of school for 2006 O.o wow. Its been a year already. I think orientation just felt like it was last week or something. Scary. Soon I’ll be graduating from rj and feel lost as to what path I want to take. Grrr…
Spent Friday afternoon at pizza hut with ivana and caroline. Haha being gluttons we ordered the set meant for 4-5 persons. HAHA. Oh my we were left stranded with 4 bowls of soup and 4 drinks altogether plus 4 slices of pizza each! Both of them just stuffed the 4 slices of pizza into their enormous stomachs but I chose to eat 2 there and takeaway 2 for dinner. In the end they both didn’t eat dinner so I guess I’m the smarter one cos I chose to space out my pizzas HEE =D Then went to ivana’s house to practise for a while. Didn’t accomplish much but we assured ourselves that we still had Saturday! Hehheh.
Went to ivana’s house again on Saturday morning and we practised a little more. Then she composed a jazzy part for me and I was practising so hard (not quite actually haha) whilst she happily slept -.-“ so with the much slacking plus little practising in between, we finally left for the esplanade –shivers—had the rehearsal and I couldn’t recall the cool jazz part at all! So in the end I suggested scrapping it. Ahhh…there goes my afternoon hard work and her brain juices wasted! AND THEN, our cool concert at the esplanade library started!! Haha or rather piano ensemble’s cool concert, I was just an intruder lol. Overall I think they did a good job =) as for my duet with ivana, guess it was okay but it wasn’t our best. The very last time we played together before setting off for esplanade was the best but never mind. Good job to us! We only started practising on Thursday which means effectively we practised for 3 days only but ppl will probably think we practised for a million lightyears or something HEH. Got flowers from shirongy zhengyi zhengyuan. Thanks a lot!! <3! (plus I only knew zhengyi for 3 days only haha)
And so, we headed to our class chalet. Reached there at 8pm. Went out for dinner then the class went to the arcade whilst zhengyuan and I just tagged along slowly behind (with me the pig looking at all the food!!! Heh) and I spotted ben&jerrys so we decided to try. Yum yum it was quite good. Had mint choc ice cream with waffle JJ
Tomorrow’s OP 2nd dry run –sighs- I so do not like presenting stuff cos I’m super duper lousy at it. Argh. Project work hurry be over please!!
Side-note: I need to get into the sun! I’m like yellowing and whitening and what nots already haha.
Another side-note: daydreaming always leaves me thinking about regretful stuff. The recent one is me having quit all my music lessons! =’( first it was piano cos my parents didn’t think I could cope with piano and JC life and next was pipa. Sighs. To think that I used to think when I was younger that teaching pipa and piano could be my part-time job if I really became unemployed (of course, choy touch wood!!) but really, somehow I like these 2 instruments and its like suddenly *poof* both are gone from my life…. PLUS (not to be egoistic) I think I’ll fare better in these than like sports or something. Oh well nvm.
